I am selling my Casablanca gown. The gown is from the diamond collection and so there are no pictures of it available on the web. It is label size 8 (but was altered to fit my body which is somewhat smaller size). My (and current dress measurements are: Bust 36 Waist: 26-26.5 Hip: 37 Height: 5'7 without heels (I wore the dress with 4 inch heels, no alterations to the hem were needed, it was perfect floor length).The fit/style is Mermaid/Trumpet with a ruched sweetheart neckline. Fabric: Taffeta+ lace beading (flower design, very subtle and elegant).The back of the dress is like a "V" shape, it has a low back but not too low or too revealing.The dress has a sweep train which easily bustles and folds into a part of the mermaid bottom.I wore the dress (as shown in the pictures) with a single tier mermaid tulle slip with a Velcro closure that I will add at no cost to the purchase, along with a lace garment bag.The dress is elegant, but it is light and easy to move around, dance, and sit with. It photographs beautifully and feels great on the body.The dress zips up in the back, but it has a few buttons just for beauty.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- The dress was taken in along the sides from the bust area to the hips in order to fit my body measurements. No alterations were made to the hem (length). Bustle: included (5 point I think - not sure. Also, there's a chance that the bustle needs to be slightly repaired) NO bra inserts/padding, but the dress naturally supports the chest area as it includes built in bones (I wore the dress with a push up bustier- separate sale).
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- I have a two tired fingertip (or waltz) length white veil. It has raw edge, and attaches with a plastic clear comb. It was a perfect complement to my diamond white gown. I will throw it in for free with the dress.
- PRESERVATION METHOD
- I used "Wedclean" right after my wedding to professionally clean and preserve the gown. It is still in the preservation box (never opened) clean and ready to ship.
