The dress was worn once and after cleaning, is in flawless condition. It looks exactly the way it was when I bought it. The dress is, in my opinion, one of the most stunnig dresses I have ever seen! My photographer, who had photographed dozens and dozens of weddings, said that I had the dress of the year, hands down. I felt amazing in the dress and I know that you will too!
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- If you go to David's Bridal and try on the floor size 2 and it fits (in the store I went to, they had a 2 and a 10 I believe), then this dress WILL fit you. I did not get one alteration done to the body of the dress. I got it hemmed about 1 inch and the bustle is already put in so that's one step less for you to do. If you are less than 5'11 with heels, then all you will have to do is get this dress hemmed (the length I bought the dress in, is the length they provide, so you would have to get it hemmed either way). I can provide the alterations receipt to prove that no other alterations were made.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- None. The dress was such a knock out on its own that I didn't wear a veil.
- PRESERVATION METHOD
- I had my dress cleaned at a cleaner that is listed by the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists. It has been stored hanging over a bust in a cloth bag. The last picture which is the most zoomed in shot of the dress, is the "after" picture after cleaning
