Congratulations on your engagement! This dress made me feel extraordinarily happy and beautiful on my wedding day and I hope to allow another bride to have a similar experience (for a fraction of the price).
This gown is white re-embroidered lace with a full trumpet skirt (no petticoat needed), a chapel-length train, and hidden zipper closure in the back. It is extremely figure-flattering and a timeless design. It was worn for approximately 6 hours on my wedding day and for an additional 2 hours during a post-wedding photo shoot.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- The gown was altered down from a designer size 10 to my street size of 2/4 by an expert seamstress. A half-French, half-American style bustle was added that preserves the trumpet shape of the skirt. There is a small 2.5 inch tear in an inconspicuous spot on the train (no one noticed on the day of the wedding). The tear is only in the top layer of the dress and can easily be repaired by a seamstress. There are also some smudges on the hemline that were not removed during the professional cleaning, but are not noticeable when the dress is worn.
