This dress retails for $750, but I purchased it on sale in August 2011 for $650 plus tax. The beading and embellishments are so sparkly! There is gold thread incoporated in the appliques. After I purchased the dress, I decided it simply didn't "fit" the look I was going for. Nor did it fit the look of my wedding (bridesmaids, colors, etc.) There are buttons down the back and a chapel train. There is a satin layer underneath the lace/beading and the dress is very flattering. The back "V's" down a bit to show off your back. It's a beautiful line.

- The dress is new, purchased off the rack, and has not been altered. I am 5'4" and I was going to have to take the dress up a few inches, so the dress will accomodate a taller bride well.

- I haven't preserved the dress because I just bought it and haven't worn it. It does come with a plastic bag that zips up the back.
