This dress is truly unique (and I have tried on close to 50 dresses in the last month or so). The way the layers do not begin until the knee give this dress a perfect A-line shape with the romance of a ball gown. This coupled with the way the outer layers of the train are cut and weighted with horse-hair at the edges allows for phenomenal movement and flow of the gown. Personally my favorite touch is the fanned material at the back which shows up in the front on the sides. The gown was featured on the cover of Brides magazine in May of 2010. It is a sample I purchased and have never worn (it is still at the store) since I found another dress that is more perfect for my shape, venue, etc. I AMD SELLING THIS FOR NEARLY 50% OFF OF THE RETAIL PRICE.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- None have been made as the dress has never been worn. The fan is un-tacked in one tiny area in the back and this would likely have to be taken care of by a seamstress. THe belt that hangs down in the back is currently not attached to the dress (my preference) but I have it. The sample was cleaned by the store once I purchased it.
