I fell in love with the light and breezy quality of this wedding gown and how it was the perfect elegant, but not too over-the-top, dress.
It's part of the Watter's Spring 2010 collection still in the salon. She's made of layer after layer of soft, ivory, 100% silk organza. The unfinished edges give the gown a beautiful ethereal quality. It is a size 6 altered to a size 2-4 gown. I normally wear a 4 but got down to in between a 2 & 4 right before the big day.
It's in great shape as it had only been worn once and professionally dry cleaned after our wedding. There is a slight discoloration on the underside of the train that the drycleaning was unable to remove. You can hardly see it at all, I tried to take pictures but nothing shows up in the pictures. - DRESS ALTERATIONS
- I had the dress's back taken down into more of a low 'V' which accentuates your shoulder blades perfectly. I also had the silhouette made into more of a fit-n-flare than the original a-line style. This cut flatters almost every body type and really hugs your curves. The length has not been hemmed. I am 5'5 and wore 3.5 inch heels and it was perfect length. Everyone at the salon took pictures of the finished product to send to the designer and to recommend to future brides, it really made the dress perfect!!!
