This is a stunning, glamorous wedding gown from Demetrios' Sensualle collection... style number GR 169. It's a size 2 taffeta, strapless, A-line gown with ruched empire boddice accented with gorgeous beading under the bustline. The skirt has multi-bustles looking like small rosettes with a bubble hem... gorgeous details! The back of the gown is a chapel train with lace up/corset backing, therefore, no alterations are needed! Perfect for a person looking a combination of an A-line gown with some ball gown characteristics. Dress includes a 5 point bustle so you will be ready to dance the evening away at your reception.
It took me almost a year to find the gown and it was perfect for my wedding. It has been freshly professionally dry cleaned and looks like new! There are cups sewn into the dress so there is no need for a bra or undergarments. This dress is super flattering and that is one of the reasons I chose it - I received compliments all night long! The corset bodice sucks you in and the A-line skirt has just the right amount of flare... the cups really give cleavage a nice boost!
This dress fit me like a glove, but it would fit a wide selection of brides because of the adjustable lace-up back. Here are my measurements:

I wore 2 inch heels with my dress making me 5'10". Dress can be easily altered for a shorter bride.
I purchased this gown in the Spring of 2010 for $1700.

- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- The sample I tried on at the salon was a size 10 and I liked the fit of the top on the larger size dress because the bust area had more fabric. So I ordered the dress in a size six and have it altered to become a size 2. This way I had the best of both worlds... the perfect fit on the body and more fabric at the bust (which i think looks much better). The alterations were done perfectly. Dress has a 5 point bustle and sewn in cups - no bra needed! Because the back of the dress is lace-up (adjustable), it is sure to fit a number of brides!
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- This bridal headpiece is truly stunning! It took me forever to find this after searching the internet for weeks trying to find a chunky, modern headpiece. This one is by AA Bridal and has Swarovski Crystal Components and Pearls intricately woven together to create a beautiful effect. It is approximately 1.25 inches in height (at it's highest point - in the center) and 5 inches wide. The bridal piece itself is flexible... if you wanted it to cup your bun hairstyle, you could mold it to fit snuggly around it or if you wanted to use it as more of a headband, you could widen it a little bit and simply pin it in place. I wore it for my wedding on September 24th of this year and it is in perfect condition. Item will arrive in it's original box with original tags (detached). This headpiece gave just the right amount of bling to compliment my dress and I received compliments all night long! Veil not included.
