An elegant yet sexy dress for a modern bride in a duchess silk satin. The quality is clear in the sparkling details. Lines of swarovski crystals on the bodice are surrounded by tiny pearls. The detailing wraps around the back and meets a long row of real buttons. It has a slight train and a gentle trumpet shape at the bottom. I chose a cascade bustle(3 pick-ups) which was unbelievable but you could easily change it. The french seams/darts on the front waist/hip are extremely special and flattering. The fabric has a rich sheen and is ideal for a wedding of any season. I wore it on a sunny hot day but it could also be a winter dress.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- I had the dress taken in at the top from the original size. I am a true size 0 and a bra cup B but there was significant padding added to the bust so there would be room for a larger cup size. The original dress was not a sweetheart neckline. What my amazing tailor did to the top to create the sweetheart was truly a work of art and I think added to the beauty of the dress. I am 5'4" and I wore 4 and 1/2 inch heels, the dress went almost to the ground. I wore a bra/corset underneath which I had taken out for proper cleaning, but if you would like it I can send that along with the dress.
