This stunning Ines DiSanto Spring/Summer 2011 gown is out of this world. It was featured in the designer's 2011 ad campaign. At my wedding in September 2011 guests said it was the most BEAUTIFUL dress they have ever seen.
It's a silk organza drop waste gown with a sweetheart neckline and handkercheif skirt with crystal accents. I also added some crystal accents to the bust but they are very delicate. The dress has a long train which I added a french bustle too so you can bustle the dress easily when dancing. The back is also low cut for extra drama.
The dress looked as though I was sitting on a cloud and was actually very comfortable to wear through the night and easy to dance in because the silk organza is a lighter fabric. I absolutely loved the dress and probably tried on over 100 dresses in New York when I was looking for one. I ended up buying this dress and new immediately it was the one. The dress was dramatic, elegant and stylish all at the same time. For the fashion forward bride who's looking to stand out from the rest, this is the perfect wedding gown for you. It's straight out of a magazine!
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- I wore a crystal belt with the dress which is separate. If interested in the belt please let me know. I removed the one shoulder strap from the dress and also removed the flowers in the skirt. I added crystals to the bust line and cups in the bust. I dded a french bustle to the dress so that you can bustle the train when dancing. I also added a hoop to the skirt of the dress so that it wouldn't drag on the floor.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- I wore 2 veils-- one bubble veil and one 3-piece veil which I wore together as one veil. if interested in either or both veils- please let me know.
- PRESERVATION METHOD
- The dress was professionally dry-cleaned and stored. It is in perfect condition and looks brand new. It was only worn once at the wedding and has no stains or anything as the reception was indoors.
