This is a Maggie Sottero dress in light gold.  I wore this dress once in July 2011, the dress was not damaged, I wore my heels until the end of my wedding so it never hit the ground.  The dress is fitted to mid-thigh and then goes out from there.  It has 3 layers: silk, tulle and lace on top. This is not a heavy dress, I wore it on a hot summer day in July.  It has a corset closure and a nice train. I had straps/capped sleeves made ( I ordered extra material when I purchased the dress), turned out really well.  I was concerned about back fat so the straps are strategically placed and at a certain length to cover any of this. I also had some lace added to the top of the corset, to add a little extra.  These straps are sewn in but can be removed, loosened or tightened by any seamstress.  There is a sash that came with the dress, it's yours if you want it.  The overall look of the dress is soft, romantic and it certainly has that wow factor.  The color is amazing.  It's a beautiful dress and I felt great in it.
