Beautiful Amy Kuschel Paris gown in the color blush, almost a bit of peach color to it. Gorgeous lace... loved it. Comes with two sashes in cream and ivory. Purchased in October 2010 for a June 2011 wedding, professionally dry cleaned following the wedding, in great condition. It was just a beautiful dress I loved getting married in! I just want it to be used again for someone else.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- This dress was extensively altered by an incredibly talented seamstress employed by the bridal boutique. First, it was taken in quite a bit to fit my size. Second, a bit of boning was put into the back just below the shoulder blades to keep the dress from sagging or buckling at all. Third, cups were sewn in, which were nice, and fourth, a gorgeous bustle was designed! I BELIEVE... and feel free to ask me for clarification because I don't know anything about bustles... there is a french bustle in the lining to give the dress volume with a three-point bustle in the lace overlay because it looked pretty. There are lots of ribbons going on, the seamstress assured me they were there to make it foolproof for the bridesmaids and that the bustle would be secure throughout the night. Lastly, the original dress has a tulle lining around the hem which we removed, leaving a scalloped lace edge, which can be seen in my photos.
