Antique silk duchess satin full circular gown, gold and silver embroidery at waist, sunburst pleats front and back, sweep train. Dress (originally $3000) has been professionally sealed since the week of the wedding with the cathedral length veil (original price $800). Excellent condition, beautiful, timeless gown for a full-figured woman. I was a size 18 when I wore this dress, but it certainly could be taken in a bit. Additionally, I am 5'7" and wore a 3" heel with the gown.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- This dress was ordered as a size 20 and taken in to a size 18. The hem line was leo brought up a couple inches to fit a 5'7" women with 2.5 inch heels.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- As mentioned, the cathedral length veil I wore is sealed in with the dress. The $2000 includes the cost of both.
- PRESERVATION METHOD
- Professionally dry-cleaned and sealed since the week of the wedding. It's in a box with a plastic, um-tampered seal.
