This dress is beautiful and flattering. On my wedding day, I felt gorgeous and comfortable, and received so many compliments. It's simple, but has wonderful touches like the light beading, alternating fabric draping on the front, and lovely buttons down the back.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- This dress went through significant alterations. When I purchased it, it was a size 14, and I wear a street size 4, so I'm guessing this is approximately a size 6 as far as gown sizing goes. I wear a size 34C bra, and am 5'7" but wore 2-inch heels for the wedding. The alterations were done perfectly, and I was extremely happy with how they turned out.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- I chose not to wear a veil, and instead had my hair up with two beautiful blue hair combs that I found on Etsy.
- PRESERVATION METHOD
- The wedding was very recent (July 3, 2011) and I had the dress cleaned immediately following.
