This dress is a stunner! Made of French Alencon Lace and a fine silk tulle. I was married in Napa Valley Wine Country in California and this dress had both a formal yet simple feel. It's beautiful train along with the Pronovia's veil made a dramatic entrance. It has a very feminine neckline and dainty spaghetti straps which allow you to wear it alone for a clean look or wear a great necklace to emphasize the shape and lace on the bust. I received so many compliments and felt so beautiful in it! You can bustle the train up when your walking around or on the dance floor and it makes a fantastic full circle with the silk tulle peeking out from underneath the lace. I'm happy to email more pictures if necessary.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- I'm pretty petite at 5'1" so I had the seamstress at Sak's Fifth Avenue add sewn in cups to the bust. It made for a very natural cleavage and gave me great support. If you are lucky in that department, you can simply remove the cups.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- I purchased my veil on a trip to Barcelona, Spain. It's from a well known Spanish Bridal Company, Pronovias. It sweeps the floor and has a beautiful scalloped Alencon lace boarder which goes perfectly with the dress! It looked so amazing that for the reception, I wrapped it around my arm and wore it all night long!!! I'm willing to include it with the price of the dress because it's just so amazing with it!
