Paloma Blanca 4001

Cross-over pleated empire bodice with tapered straps and broach clasps. Pick-up skirt with flower detail. Silk dupioni fabric.

The dress has been professionally cleaned and there are just some very small things that need mending. There are some small tears underneath near the bustle but they can be easily fixed and they don’t show. I also have some extra fabric that can be used for that. One of the covered buttons popped off but you can buy one for a couple of dollars, and the hook closure at the top is ripped but again that is an easy fix for any seamstress.

DRESS ALTERATIONS

I am 5’3” and was wearing 3 1/4” heels. I had a French bustle put in. This dress is a size 10 and I had no alterations done to the bodice. I had the neckline tucked a little so it laid flat against my body which is a standard alteration to any strapless gown. I had the straps ship to me unattached but I have them and they can easily be sewn on. I also added covered buttons down the back of the dress which is a beautiful addition and helps hide the zipper.
