This dress is absolutely stunning! I don't usually like wedding dresses, but this one is perfect. I love the detail and beading at the top, and the flowers are my favorite part. I have never felt as beautiful as I did on our wedding day, and I know this dress played a big part in that :) There are a couple of small things that occurred when the dress was worn. The buttons in the back have a small sparkly detail on them, and 3 of these came off while my bridesmaids were buttoning them. One had been missing when I got the dress, and the woman who had done my alterations was able to put another one on with no trouble. Additionally, there are some light stains towards the bottom of the dress that occurred while the dress was bustled. If the length of the dress is altered, these may not be noticeable. I can provide pictures upon request.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- I had the dress taken in a little around the bust since it was a little big. I also had an ivory insert put in so that you couldn't see my skin through the dress (but that would be easy to remove). For the bustle, I had five buttons put in under the hem so that it could just be turned under and would maintain the sleek outline. I also had a little bit of the tulle removed so that it wasn't quite as full in the skirt.
