This Monique Lhuillier bustier top has her signature embroidered chantilly lace embellished with organza and tulle flowers with crystal beads at their center. Looks similar to Vanessa Minnillo's recent wedding top. Monique Lhuillier pairs her bustier tops with tulle or bustled silk skirts. For a simpler silhouette I wore a custom made chiffon skirt. This top is very beautiful, and has lots of happy personality. The color "pistachio" refers to the color of the lace, it has a very, very faint color to it that just gives it a little dimension from the ivory background.I have decided to try and sell it after admiring it hanging in the closet for the last 2 years.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- The label is a size 6. I had it taken in from the waist up. The seamstress also inserted bra cups so I didn't need to wear a bulky bra underneath. Finally, the seamstress moved around some of the flowers and pieces of lace to more fully cover the zipper in the back.
