This incredible Carolina Herrera gown is from her Fall 2009 collection, and is still available at her boutiques nationwide. The material is waffle-cut silk habotai, and the design of the back is couture, as it was altered by the store's in-house seamstress to be made lower and sexier.  The dress was made famous by Bachelorette Jen Schefft, and was originally sold with a black organza sash. I ordered it with a custom-made white organza sash instead. It is high fashion and one-of-a-kind.  I wore it with flats for my beach destination wedding.  I can't even tell you how many people told me it is the most beautiful gown they'd ever seen!
