I absolutely love this dress. It's extremely flattering and unique with the v-neck straps that cross in front and the beautiful flowers on the left shoulder that can be manipulated in whichever direction you'd like. It's made of silk satin and catches light wonderfully in your pictures. - DRESS ALTERATIONS
- I only needed minor alterations. The length went untouched. I took in about an inch at the hips and perhaps a 1/2 inch at the waist. I also reinforced the bustle (bustled on one of the buttons along the back) because I didn't want it to accidentally fall and it worked because the dress stayed bustled the whole night!
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- I'm happy to sell the two pieces I wore in my hair. The floral piece mimics the shoulder exactly and the small birdcage veil gave a modern yet 40's flair.
- PRESERVATION METHOD
- My wedding was on a Saturday and I took it to a professional wedding dress cleaner on the following Monday. Unfortunately, the cleaner was unable to get the dirt completely removed from the bottom 1/2 inch of the dress. Shortening the length will mitigate
