This Caroline DeVillo Esther dress is made from beautiful ivory silk charmeuse. The gown features spaghetti straps, an empire waist with a v-neckline and lovely Chantilly lace on bust. The back of the gown features beautiful gathering and draping that cascades down. The dress is a label size 10, but I had it altered to fit a size 0/2.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- I had additional alterations done to the dress to suit my style. First, I had the train shortened so that is just grazes the floor and does not need to be bustled. I also had the original mermaid style hemline reduced so that the flare is not quite as dramatic. Please see my personal pictures for more. Additionally, I had cups sewn into the dress so that a bra is not needed. I am 5’4” and wore 4 inch heels on my wedding day and the dress was the perfect length.
