This is a vintage style inspired dress and it is made from cord lace. The cord lace is a unique piece which was chosen for the more vintage style patterns as opposed to the very typical crowded cord lace designs which can make a bride feel older. The sillhouette is intended to be a slight mermaid, i.e. show off the bride's shape and still provide flexibility to move around with ease. (I have a rather straight waistless body so if you are shapely, you can take it in to show a even better silhouette. ) There are 2 pleats running down the front which will enable ease of movement. The pleats are concealed cleverly with handsewn lace. The dress has a small train, and hand-sewn lace embroided borders, which is lovely for a chapel wedding. The back stops just at the braline which gives you the flexibility to wear a strapless or just to rely on the in-built padding. The dress is a size 10 but taken in to a szie 8 so there is some allowance to make it looser.
