This ethereal Jenny Packham dress is part of the 2011 collection and is stunningly beautiful. The dress has an A-line silhouette that will look great on all body types and is a soft ivory color, with layers of soft fabric twisted into sophisticated "pick-ups." I also have the extra beads, etc. that came with the dress. As noted under "Preservation Method," the dress has not yet been cleaned and has normal stains from being on the ground, etc., but I would be willing to negotiate a reasonable credit for cleaning and repair. Based on my conversations with gown preservation / repair companies, the dress could easily be restored to perfect condition.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- The dress has been altered professionally by Saks to fit my height and measurement, and a second corset has been sewn in to give more support (which can be easily removed). The dress also has buttons and loops sewn in for the bustle.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- Although it's not a perfect match color-wise, I would be happy to throw in the veil if you like. The veil was handmade with the highest quality silk tulle (not bridal illusion as with most veils), with a lace border.
- PRESERVATION METHOD
- The gown has not been cleaned since being worn, but I would be willing to negotiate a reasonable credit for cleaning and repair.
