It's as if this dress were borrowed from Cinderella. It's a timeless, classic gown with a well pronounced sweetheart neckline, a perfect-sized small train and a traditional A-line cut that definitely accentuates that classicly elegant "tiny waist" look. Price is negotiable and I'm willing to take offers.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- My measurements were a perfect size 6 so upon my first fitting after receiving the dress, minimal alterations were made. The only thing done was adding a bustle and a few boning pieces near the bust to help keep your bra in place. There are three bustle straps added to make the ceremony to reception transition very easy and the boning helped keep my classic white strapless pushup bra, in place all night long. I'm 5'8'' so with heels, I did not need to alter the hem of the dress, which is very common. So, it's just as it was designed but easily alterable for someone shorter.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- I have a veil that matches the unique ivory of this dress perfectly, also from The White Gown in New York.
- PRESERVATION METHOD
- After the wedding, the dress looked brand new and untouched. I wore the dress for about 4 hours and the silk is extremely sturdy and silky... at the same time. I am currently having the dress cleaned and boxed where I purchased it, at The White Gown in NY
