The style of this Saint Ptarick Pronovias Diagonal Atelier dress is elegant, timless and classic. The dress is made of ivory colored taffeta, is fitted from the bust to the waist, and flows gently outward from the wait down. The thin folds in the dress make it extremely flattering in the stomach and waist area, and the gently wider skirt makes the dress easy to walk and dance in. Small buttons running down the back add to the dress's elegant style. I felt beautiful and comfortable in this dress. The dress shapes to and moves with you, rather than the other way around. - DRESS ALTERATIONS
- The length of the dress is altered to brush the floor on someone who is 5'4", in 2" heels. When I purchased the dress in 2011, the smallest off-the-rack dress size was a size 4; this dress has been altered to fit a size 0-2. The tulle material has been removed from the skirt, so that the skirt flows naturally and is easy to walk and dance in. There is still the perfect amount of subtle flounce in the bottom portion of the dress, due to the nature of the taffeta material. There is a modest train, altered slightly shorter than the one in the picture, with a silk wrist band to hold it up when needed.
