I am selling my Melissa Sweet “Mila” wedding gown from my April 16th, 2011 wedding. Melissa Sweet describes it as a "strapless ruched Taffeta trumpet gown with asymmetric floral corsage". It is an ivory silk taffeta. It was purchased in 2010 from a bridal shop in Kansas City, MO. The dress fit perfect around the bust area with no adjusting throughout the night. The dress is form flattering and accentuates curves in a beautiful way. The material is lighter than most and breaths well. I had the dress bustled after the pictures - after the ceremony so the asymmetrical train was not being dragged around. I was also able to move around freely. There are no tears or stains on the dress.
I loved my dress so much but we just don't have room to keep it around. I am hoping that the lucky recipient of this dress loves it just as much as I did. It was the PERFECT wedding gown and now you can snag it at an unbelievable price! Let me know if you have ANY questions at all!

- As for the alterations. . . the alterations were done by a couture seamstress; I paid approximately $400 for alterations plus the bustle. I had the waist taken in to fit 26.5, hips to fit 35, and bust area to fit 34C. I am a 34B but I didn't want the arm fat hanging over so I had her leave it a bit looser around the chest area. I am 5’3”, 116lbs, and wear a 2-4 street size. I wore shoes that were 3 1/2” so total height with shoes is 5 feet 6 1/2 inches (almost 5’7”) I also had the seamstress leave extra fabric so the dress would hit the floor. The bustle is absolutely beautiful, my seamstress did an amazing job. So rest assured the quality is worthwhile all around.
