Gorgeous couture silk satin authentic vintage Vera Wang from the early years that made her popular, a delectable ivory white ball gown with a band of buttery gold framing the bottom. Three adorable pin wheel flowers on the back made of buttery gold silk satin. The entire gown is lined with silk organza. Wears comfortably well. I love this gown... Perfect condition. Professionally drycleaned and time-lock preserved. The dress has a bustle that is breathe-taking when tied.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- Almost nothing. I wore 5 inch Vera Wang platform heels and the dress is hemmed for a height of 5'11". I had a full 34D bust size when I married as can be seen in the last picture and the dress was not hemmed in the bust.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- Veil can be seen in pictures, a lovely tulle veil with 1/8th inch silk satin ribbon lining at the edge and little clusters of real pearls throughout the veil (clusters of three with a cubic zirconia in the center). The chapel length veil is detachable and leaves the second layer, an elbow length veil of similar beautiful construction as the first, ivory white with 1/8 inch silk satin ribbon lining. Perfect condition.
