This is a Priscilla of Boston Sophie Style 50700 dress, which is part of the Vineyard Collection. The dress has been altered to be an ankle-length or tea-length (depending on how tall you are) to give it more of a vintage Audrey Hepburn style. The original dress version of the dress is floor-length. It's a wonderful ivory silk taffeta fabric ball gown with a deep v-neck and ruched waist. One of my favorite features is the two hidden pockets (one on each side) to hide wedding day essentials. I also loved that the fabric doesn't feel too "heavy." It was perfect for my summer outdoor garden vintage style wedding. - DRESS ALTERATIONS
- This version of the Sophie dress is one-of-a kind due to it's unique alterations. The dress has been seriously altered in length to be a tea-length or ankle-length dress and extra tulle has been added around the bottom. I'm 5'4", if that gives you an idea of where it will fall on you. The straps have also been slightly shortened. There is probably enough fabric to gain a 1/2 inch or more in the waist and perhaps in the straps.
