This dress is so spectacular it seems to float across the floor. It has layers and layers of ivory tulle and hand made flowers with swarovski crystals sprawling down to the floor. It is the epitome of romance named for the artist Franz Xavier Winterhalter's piece "Empress Elisabeth". The dress fits beautifully and comfortably-- I didn't feel the need to tug on it all night. I had a silk jacket made for the ceremony and there is a sweet little piece of tulle across the bust that can be worn up or down, a delicate detail that works so perfectly. I also opted to tie a sash around my waste (designer Gudd Waddell). This dress deserves to be worn again instead of being in a box for years and years.
