Timeless ivory silk A-line strapless gown from Ines di Santo. This dress is particularly striking because it includes an icy blue sash and train, also made of silk, that are both hand-embroidered with flowers and vines. The detail is spectacular and really makes this dress stand out. I felt elegant and sexy in this dress and hope that it will help another bride feel the same way. The dress was worn once, with only a few moments outside to run from the church to the car (I had a January wedding in Minnesota). I wore the dress for a total of 8 hours.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- Dress was made for me by Ines di Santo -- I provided my measurements and the gown was made to those measurements. The gown is already bustled (see photo of bustle) and had bra cups sewn into the top of the dress.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- I did not have either a veil or a headpiece. I am also selling the handmade Swarovski crystal and pearl necklace that I had custom made to wear with the dress. I paid $400 for it and it was only worn for the wedding. It is listed under the "Accessories" section of this site for $375 (Item #28352), but I will sell it to whomever purchases the dress for $250. I will include the shoes I wore with the dress, which are a size 9 and were dyed to match the sash and train. $60 value.
