Monique Lhuillier Rosette
'Rosette' is a gorgeous A-line Monique L'Huillier gown. She is silk with a lace overlay and crinoline layers underneath. The lace pattern is really remarkable and unique-- with big rosettes!

The gown is an unaltered size 10 that I bought at an off-the-rack boutique. It's never been worn in a wedding but has been tried on by many a bride-to-be so it needs some love (needs to be cleaned and lace needs repair in a couple of places-- however, if the dress were made dress into a strapless, all the lace problems would be solved.

Four things you should know:
1) The dress is a big on me so it'll look WAY better on someone who can actually fill it.
3) To give you a sense of the length, I'm 5'9' and am wearing no shoes in the pics. Other measurements are roughly 36-38' bust and 31-33' waist (because it's a-line, it flows freely over hips so no measurement there), but I'm reluctant to publish these numbers since it's hard to measure a dress that doesn't fit properly and I don't have a dress form to put it on. Best to just know that the tag says 10 and it hasn't been altered.
3) I've seen pics of this dress with a sash at the waist and it's a really great look (I improvised with red ribbon in pics, but am happy to include it if you like!).

Lastly, a word about the price: I'm selling this gown because even though I fell in love with the amazing lace and loved the neckline, I've since fallen in love with another dress so need to find a new home for Rosette. I'm really hoping not to lose money on it because I bought it 'as is' and other than trying it on a few times have done nothing to it since purchase, but that said-- price is negotiable and I'll consider best offers.
