This is the Barbara from the 2008 Badgley Mischka runway collection. It is made of satin and has lots of bead and crystal work on the front and back of the gown. The back of this gown with or without the bustle is the main reason I bought it. The dress is in excellent condition. It can be further altered if needed. I have had it professionally cleaned by J. Scheer in NYC but it is not preserved. The bust has molded breast cups for a more smooth look and also allows for wearing without an under garment. I had a bodice made from my measurements because normal dress sizing was too far off from my body type. Having the bodice especially made makes this gown fit like a glove and allowed for no altering of the gown or beautiful bead work. The only discoloring is under the bottom of the dress from it touching the ground which can not be seen when wearing it.
