Monique Lhuillier 4123 Carla
This gown is called the Carla by Monique Lhuillier. I purchased it at Kleinfeld's in New York City on February 28, 2004. I have all of the receipts and contract from Kleinfeld, which I will be happy to provide. I got married in October 2004 and wore the dress one time. The dress is strapless, silk, with a row of tiny buttons down the back, and is a size 6 (I wear a size 2 or 4 in street clothes. It was simple and beautiful!

I had the dress altered - it was taken up on the bottom (I am 5 foot 4) and around the waist and bust.

The dress is a size 6 (I wear a size 2 or 4 in street clothes). I had the dress taken up to make it shorter around the waist (I didn't want to lose any of the 'flow' of the skirt) - I am 5 foot 4 and I wore 2 1/2 inch heels. The dress was also taken in around the bust and the waist. The dress is an a-line, so it is very forgiving around the hip area. The train on the dress is long - several feet - and since it is simple and elegant, I pinned my grandmother's antique crystal brooch at the top of the bustle. I highly recommend doing that if you have something similar!

This gown was perfect, but unfortunately my marriage was not and so there is no need for me to keep it! I will also include my veil if you would like it - it is a very simple tulle veil attached to a comb.

This dress can be returned within 10 days (return shipping is at the buyers expense) if you don't like it or it doesn't fit. There is small fee for this service (5% of the sale price). Before shipping, I would like to receive the full payment price, I will then return the money (minus the 5% return charge) if the gown is returned.
