Silk Tricotine Avery Dress A beautiful sight to see (and feel) in pure ivory midweight silk tricotine with a refined drape and elegant cross-back straps. Back zip. Full A-line skirt. Fully lined. I bought this dress for my June 2010 wedding and then fell in love with another dress at the last minute which i wore on my wedding day. I listed the dress as "used" because i cut the tags off anticipating that this was the dress i would wear on my wedding day. So it has never been worn for more than 10 minutes, but it no longer has the tags attached. This dress is very comfortable, cool, easy to move in and light in weight. 24K gold beading detail was added to the straps. Payed $425 for the dress and $45 for the beading.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- Petite size 0 (JCrew's size chart for petite zero is B31½ W24 H34 however my measurements are B33 W26 H37). Slightly altered. Condition: I recently took the dress out and noticed some very small, pencil tip-sized mildew stains. As you can imagine, this was very disappointing as the dress has never actually been worn at an event and was in perfect condition. I took the dress to the dry-cleaner but a few spots still remain. They are primarily located on the bottom half of the dress. When worn, these spots are not noticeable. They are only noticeable when you look closely at the gown, not when you're wearing it. Because of these spots, i have reduced the price to $250. It's still a beautiful dress.
