This is a beautiful ball gown with a very full skirt. It is a cream color (designer called it khaki) with a gold embroidered lace overlay that has clusters of bulge beading. There is a gold satin band around the top of the gown and along the edge of the skirt. The gathered waist is accentuated with a band of beads as is the edge of the gold satin at the top and bottom. This gown comes with a matching long sleeve bolero jacket that has the same lace overlay and beading as the dress. The jacket has a dramatic high collar and the cuffs of the sleeves have gold satin that is flared out. The gown also has a built in adjustable corset so you do not need to wear a bra. (If you have seen JA gowns, you know what I mean) The first image of this gown is from the designer, Justin Alexander. The lighting is very dark so the gown looks much darker than it does in person. I found this picture online and was told it was from a promo shoot and the gown could be made, but wasn't available in stores. In order to see it, I would have to go to a Justin Alexander trunk show and they would send this gown special to that show. This is what I did so the pictures with me wearing the gown are of the sample from that show. I however, chose to order my gown so it was new. I don't have a crinoline/petticoat on under the dress that is how full it is on it's own. I was planning on wearing one though. It took 6 months to be made once I ordered it. I don't know of any other girl who has had this gown.
