This is an Ilissa Bridal Gown (#992) Purchased at the Demetrios Spring 2010 Trunk Show. It was purchased brand new and worn once (9.25.10) but is still in perfect condition. Description on Demetrios website reads :
Silk Taffeta, strapless gown with a ruched bodice and side draping finished with beading. Has a lace-up back and a chapel train.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The lace-up back has been changed to a zipper with covered buttons! *Photo of lace-up is only to show detail of the back of the gown*
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- A small amount was taken in at waist (to match measurements above) and the hem was taken up (to fit height with 4 inch heels) Chapel train with French Bustle Slip will also be included **Back does NOT lace-up, it is a zipper with covered buttons!** (Which, in my opinion, is a much more elegant look) There is a small area of netting (under all silk layers and lining) in the front of the gown, at the hem, that has been cut shorter. The day of my wedding I noticed myself catching the netting under my feet when walking, the netting seemed to be cut uneven and was too long in the front. This is completely un-noticable while the gown is on.
