This is a gorgeous gown from Ines di Santo that I fell in love with and was so lucky to find it 2nd hand--couldn't have paid full price for it. I am passing on this savings to another lucky bride who can fit it. It is lace edged on the bottom front of gown with crystals scattered all around. I can't verify if they are swarovski or not, but I heard they could be.
I've dropped the price down by $700 as of 3/28 because I had taken the gown to be dry-cleaned just a month earlier and the high heat from the steaming of the gown resulted in the glues holding the vine pieces together on the gown became darkened and can be seen. I think a professional tailor can have the vines re-done by cutting off a small portion of the very long train to re-create them. One photo is in the posting that shows the darkened glue spots. - DRESS ALTERATIONS
- I am the 2nd owner of this gown. The first owner had it sized in to fit her street size 4 and I had it sized in even further to fit my street size 0. Sweetheart neckline was altered and made for me. French bustle where there are 7 colored ribbons to match up to tie together to bustle up the gown. One of the images shows how the gown looks bustled up. Large cups are sewn into the top. I'm sure another alterationist can have it removed if necessary.
