The Dress is a one of a kind, vintage couture gown. It has an ivory satin drop waisted bodice that is a corset with green lacing. The skirt is a full bell, no train, of tulle with a top layer that has green vines with white flowers covering the skirt in a criss cross lattice work pattern, there is a four inch high ivory satin trim around the bottom that matches the bodice. It made me feel like a princess!
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- It was originally a covered zipper with buttons in the back, I had the zipper cut out and the corset built in to finish the dress.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- The veil is a single layer with a half-inch of Ivory satin trim around the entire piece that matches the bodice exactly in fabric and color, it measures 43 inches from clip to tip of the center.
- PRESERVATION METHOD
- The wedding was only a month ago, so I had it cleaned and put in a box in the closet. It's in pristine condition, no rips, no stains, it looks brand new, even though it is a vintage dress!
