Beautiful strapless gown in ivory geneve satin. The neckline is unique, sort of a mix between straight across and sweetheart. The corset is a regular sweetheart underneath, with fabric over it that looks like a straight across top, with a notch in it (sorry, the pictures explain it better).
Asymmetrical pleating all along the bodice to the hip, and then it just drapes down into a beautiful skirt with a cathedral length train. The back has functional satin covered buttons over a zipper, up to the 4 rows of gorgeous accordion pleats, which bustle uniquely, so that you can still see 3 layers of pleats. Medea photographs beautifully, and I got loads of compliments on it (and my figure!) - created an hourglass where there was none! I think the best part is the abstract bow detail on the front, but if that's not your style, I know it can be removed without any damage to the dress. It was worn indoors only for my 7/24 wedding. I live in MD, but my parents are in NJ, so it can be tried on in the DC or NY/NJ metro area.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- No alterations for fit - the inside corset can be made tighter/looser for the best fit possible. The only thing I changed was the hem (I'm 5'10" with heels, so only took off a couple inches), and the back design (from straight across to V). If you've tried this dress on at the store, you'll know that, in its original design, the back hits you right in the middle of the shoulder blade, creating a weird bulge that looks like 'back fat', but is really your bone. Changing it to a subtle V back resolved this issue, without compromising the structure of the dress. It's only about an inch lower in the center back, but makes all the difference. All alterations were done at the Pronovias NYC flagship store. The alterations fee is included in the price paid.

- It has not been cleaned/preserved. I know of one tiny dot on the bow, and some minimal dirt/makeup on the inside of the hem and top.
