This dress made me very happy! The Rum Pink was flattering to my complexion, as I'm pale and have light freckles and a hint of red in my hair. It was comfortable for dancing and fit the feel of our Lake Tahoe wedding perfectly. Who knew in June it would be cold, rainy, and showering HAIL...? So, the day before I had the person who steamed my dress make the jacket, that I'm including without additional cost. The color of the jacket is a shade darker than the gown. The lace and cuffs of the sleeves are a light champagne, also a bit darker than the lace on the dress.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- Dress was hemmed and taken in slightly at the bust. The bust can be let out again but the hem was cut (I'm 5'3.5" without heels, 5'6" with the heels I wore). Bustle added.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- Included for free are a matching veil bought separately and a jacket, made separately to match. The veil is an extra fine, cut edge tulle, with no blusher or accents (style 11002 from VeilShop.com). Finger tip length. The color matches the lace of the gown. I purposely choose a very sheer, simple veil so as not to compete with the gorgeous back of the gown.
