This modern and romantic gown was purchased at The Collection in Winter Park, Florida in April 2010. This dress is new and unaltered. I purchased it as a sample for $6,650.. I felt like a very lucky girl that day to get a Vera Wang Luxe ballgown at that price! The original price of this gown was $12,500. I must go in another more casual direction for my wedding to suit a change of venue and must now part with this dream dress. This gown is from Vera Wang's 2008 LUXE Collection.
This is a beautiful couture bridal gown from the Vera Wang Luxe (her most exclusive collection). Vera Wang used this dress in her mattress collection "Serta" advertisement, watch the advertisement here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=et0haU3S_h0I .
The gown is strapless, with a ball gown skirt made with 18 layer silk tulle fabric and a chapel train. It has a pretty ruffle at the bustline.
The dress price is including tax as well as a professional cleaning by a specialty cleaner that handles silk netting. The dress is a side zip up and is ready to wear or be altered to fit you. The dress is being stored in a guest closet in 2 garmet bags in a smoke free, pet free environment.
Please note that this dress is shown with a black belt. There is no belt attached to the dress and no belt is included. Any belt would look great with this dress. I had intended to wear the dress with a blue velvet ribbon.
