This dress is the definition of simple elegance. It is a Jenny Lee original, purchased at Kleinfeld's in Manhattan for my September 2009 wedding. I felt like a knock-out in this dress! I am curvy and the elegant fabric and design of this dress made my hourglass figure look amazing. It is an incredibly sophisticated look - such a beautiful wedding dress. I received so many compliments on my wedding day (and on our pictures).
The dress is 100% silk taffeta with a silk underlay. The taffeta has a gorgeous ruching that is very flattering. It is floor length with a small train, and the bustle could not be easier - just two small buttons and you are ready for the reception. I had buttons added down the back of the dress over the zipper because I thought it added a pretty detail.
I have such happy memories associated with this dress. My husband and I had such a happy and beautiful wedding in NY. I did not think I would sell my wedding dress, but we just found out we are pregnant with our first baby and we need the money. I hope this dress will make you as happy as it made me!

- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- The dress had quite a few alterations ($595 worth!). Kleinfeld's took it in a full size, so it is really a label size 10 / street size 6. I had the buttons added down the zipper on the back of the dress (see photo). At the time of the wedding, I was a 34B bust, 135 pounds, and fit into a street size of 4/6. I am 5'7 and wore 3 inch heels with the dress. The dress was hemmed slightly to fit that length.
