Amsale Silk gazar with hand-stitched alencon lace!
You will feel elegant and sophisticated in this gown! Beautiful basque waist with satin ribbon detail. The 'v' shape of the dropped waist fools the eye, making you appear taller and thinner. Full box-pleated skirt with gorgeous, intricate alencon lace detail ($400 a yard!). Buttons down center of back fully cover the zipper, unlike some of the less expensive gowns. Silk gazar is a full-bodied fabric, so this dress appears to float! The chapel-length train can be bustled with several buttons and loops my expert seamstress added. It looks stunning no matter which way you turn!
Because I am only 5'3' my seamstress had to take some length off the gown, but she took it apart from the waist rather than the bottom so as not to disturb the delicate lace. The bodice was not altered. The alterations alone cost $500+, but I would love to pass the dress along to someone who can feel as beautiful in it as I did!
Height with Shoes: 5'6' (like I said, the dress 'floats' so even when I put my flip-flops on it still looked great!)
