This designer Elizabeth Fillmore [http://www.elizabethfillmorebridal.com/] dress is a one of a kind 100% Silk Organza gown. The gown is fully lined in silk - and has two layers of silk organza. It is extremely lightweight and incredibly comfortable. The gown is scattered with tiny organza 'rosebuds' - a truly feminine and romantic gown. There is a fitted bustier built right into the dress - so no bra necessary. There are small pads sewn into the breast area to enhance us less endowed girls - or they can be easily snipped out.
I worked directly for Elizabeth Fillmore for over 5 years - this is a custom variation on one of Elizabeth's designs that she created especially for me. The dress was worn once - and has been cleaned and preserved by the best in the business - J. Scheer & Co. [http://www.jscheer.com/]. I am personal friends with the owner of J. Scheer and he oversaw the entire cleaning and preservation of my gown - so it's in perfect condition. There are some horizontal 'lines' that appear in the photos taken in my home - those are simply wrinkles - and I chose not to steam them out as the gown will need to be steamed once you receive it anyway - best not to steam too many times.
My wedding/the gown was featured in ELEGANT BRIDE, a European wedding book called - 'THE SUBLIME WEDDING' - my wedding was the featured 'US' wedding, and detail shots from my wedding were also in TOWN&COUNTRY 'ELEGANT ENTERTAINING' book.
As this gown was fit specifically to my body, the top is quite small - between a size 0 and a size 2. A good seamstress, however, should be able to either take out the bustier if necessary or open it up if need be. The waist on the gown is approx a 4. Since the skirt is a-line - it could fit most likely up to a size 6 or 8, as the lining should be able to be let out.
Elizabeth Fillmore's gowns are a truly remarkable creation - she is one of the top wedding gown designers in the industry and is constantly featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, Bride's, Modern Bride, Town and Country, In Style Weddings, etc.
Her eye for detail is incredible - and the construction is superb - all of Elizabeth's gowns are made IN her New York studio - and all her fabrics are 100% silk and brought in from the top fabric mills in Europe.
The measurements below are of MY body - obviously the dress itself will be slightly smaller in measurements as these are body measurements, not dress measurements.
