This very unique dress comes from the 2010 Aire Collection, a line by designer Rosa Clara. I bought this dress from the designer's boutique directly in Barcelona. All the photos are of the actual dress. At my wedding I mostly received comments about it being: glamorous (because of the jewel pieces), chic, elegant and at the same time fun, which was exactly what I was looking for. This dress is also very flattering for the figure! Even though I got married in a tropical setting, the dress was comfortable and I didn't feel too hot at all (as happens with most dresses).
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- A few of alterations have been made to the dress by the designer's seamstress. 1. We added a small piece of sheer fabric to the decoltage in order to make it a bit more suitable for a church ceremony :-) The piece can easily be detached for the party for a sexier look, which makes it great and versatile. 2. At the back we added 3 buttons to make it easier (and prettier)to pull back the train. Now it is possible to have a long beautiful train for the ceremony and a comfortable and equally beautiful dress for the dance floor. 3. The waist has been adjusted to my figure (made smaller). Please see the exact measurements.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- The veil is also available with this dress (from the same designer). It is the same color (ivory), knee length and with elegant satin corded edge. Price paid: $90, Price asked: $45
