Congratulations! I bought this dress new and wore it to my outdoor July 2010 wedding. It was unique, beautiful, soft and comfortable. I have 100s of pictures to share and the dress looks great in all of them! It has a corset top with an open back. The material is soft tulle and chantilly lace over a satin slip style dress. The corset can be adjusted to fit different sizes to some extent. Lots of nice details without any bling. Folds up small so perfect for a destination wedding.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- Alteration were to the length and the spagetti straps and a simple bussel was added. The dress is a European size 36. I typically wear a size 4 petite. I am 5'3" and wore 4 inch platform heals but I had it hemmed a little on the short side so I could easily walk in the grass and not ruin the dress. It made it through the day in perfect condition. The dress is perfect for a petite woman who is fairly slim.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- I ordered a beautiful silk flower hairpiece that arrived too late for my wedding that I can throw in. I have lots of other pictures that I can provide links to if you are interested. The dress looked great in all the pics both indoor and out.
- PRESERVATION METHOD
- Professionally dry cleaned. No stains or rips that I could see. I got a great deal on this dress and would like to pass my savings on to you. I purchased it at the Cymbeline Salon in NYC. I was told that it normally sells for $3,200
