This beautiful ivory Monique Lhuillier wedding gown is a romantic dream. This mix-and-match wedding look is made of three peaces of which all are included in the asking price. The dress was purchased at White in Toronto and have been worn once on June 17th, 2007.
The dress is called 'snow-white' and it is strapless with bustles starting at the hips. It is wonderfully made of satin which was perfectly maintained with no stains on it. There is a foot long train that can be gathered to create more bustles and fullness at the back. The back of the dress is a v-back cut with a zipper that is covered with satin buttons that continue to the bottom of the train.
The vest is called 'valentine' and is made of raw hand-sewn lace. The vest is fitted to the dress to extenuate the curves and create a small waist. The vest adds elegance and softness. The sash must be worn as the vest is not attached to the dress and would be opening up at the front.
The sash is also made of satin and is 13-15 feet long. It is a Monique Lhuillier gold color and goes wonderfully with the ivory dress and vest. The sash creates a very romantic and elegant dress that is unforgettable.
I am 5'10' with heals and the dress was down to the floor. The cut is a larger B, which can be easily let out. The dress was professionally cleaned and packaged for preservation of the fabric and color. This fabric is light and comfortable on the skin. It was the first dress that I tried on and fell in love with.
