The dress of my dreams - Carolina Herrera hand-made couture, from the Spring 2008 collection. Simple silhouette made gorgeously unique by ribbon accents in front of bodice. Has beautiful Mikado silk fabric. Dress slightly longer in back to give just enough trailing effect, but not a "train." Neckline is very flattering, has slight "flutter effect" at neck which I found to be a very feminine touch, softening my features. This dress can no longer be purchased through Carolina Herrera. I am a busty, curvy girl and felt thin, beautiful, and glamorous in this dress. After trying on almost 50 dresses, none could hold a candle to the way I felt in this one. I was married in August in Virginia and this dress was so light, I barely felt like I was wearing one! This dress would look great on many body types, and could be just as easily used for an elegent casual evening in the country (like I did) as it could be for an all-out formal affair in the city. Could be easily altered for someone shorter or thinner than I am. I hope someone else can find as much happiness in this dress as I have!!
