The fluid silk charmeuse fabric makes your every step flow like a 1930s movie star. The shirred waist provides a slimming look and the V-neck style means you don't waste a single nanosecond worrying about "wardrobe malfunctions" on your special day (and the included strap hiders help keep your bra in place, too). The dress has a court-length train, which can be bustled using the button details on the back. The scoop back has a gentle drape, which adds an elegant accent.

- Purchased brand-new from Kleinfeld’s Bridal in NYC and altered (by them) slightly to take in the waist and take up the hem to fit my measurements (5’5” in stocking feet; 38-29-39).
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- No need for a veil with this dress! It also comes with detachable shoulder “trains”—made of the same creamy white silk charmeuse fabric—that make the ensemble flow in truly regal fashion.
- PRESERVATION METHOD
- The dress was taken to an expert who handles fabric and textile preservation for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Since 2006, the dress has been stored, unopened, in a museum quality archival box, wrapped in neutral pH tissue paper and cotton.
