Vera Wang Luxe Dress - named "Lavendar". I purchased the dress for my September 2009 wedding from Neiman Marcus in Dallas, TX. The dress is silk organza and features a triple satin detail around the neckline and bust and then around the layers at the bottom. The bottom of the dress has 3 VERY subtle layers that move with the dress so the detailing is visible at all times but the layers do not add any weigh to the dress at all. The dress is very lightweight so it can be worn in the summer months (my wedding was outdoors over Labor Day Weekend and I stayed very comfortable) but it is also elegant enough for a winter wedding. It is really a stunning dress. The dress has been professionally cleaned and is ready for a new bride to wear for her big day. I received a ton of compliments on the dress and am sad to part with it, but hate to see such a gorgeous dress sitting in my closet when it could help make another bride feel as gorgeous as I did on my wedding day.
