A dream come true wedding dress. This Monique Lhuillier 2 piece gown was worn once 'brand new' by the seller on September 3, 2006. It was purchased new, worn for a few hours, professionally cleaned and preserved. The dress has a Monique cathedral length veil that has the same lace as Monique used in her dress along the edging... stunning! The music artist 'Pink' wore the same top with a different Monique Skirt for her wedding. This is a dress was made for a star and I want someone else to be able to feel as beautiful as I did on my wedding day and not have to pay the full price.

The skirt has a small train that can be bustled in the back (as I did for the reception). The bustling was all done by the designer - not during alterations and it was simple to do as well. The ball gown skirt is a classy white silk and the halter top is a gorgeous white lace overlay. Monique's dresses consist of only the highest quality materials. The preservationist said that since I brought the dress in right after my honeymoon and it was cleaned so soon that the dress came completely clean. There was only one very minute snag in the back near one of the bustles but it was very hard to see when inspected after cleaning.

This dress is absolutely stunning and when I go home to visit friends and family in Chicago (where we were married) they are still talking about it. I am normally a size 10 in pants/jeans and a small/medium (6/8) on the top - depending on the maker of the clothes. The Halter part of the dress was altered to fit smaller then a 12 (tag size) bust but was ordered large to fit over my hips... so plenty of room to make smaller still at waist, etc. Also, the skirt was barely altered at the waist and the length was made to fit me at just under 5'5' with 2 '' -3' heals were worn (about 5'7' with shoes). Veil/Headpiece Description:
The veil was made by Monique Lhuillier as well and the lace trim scallop matched the halter top of the dress.... it was so gorgeous just flowed perfectly with the dress. I tried on the fingertip length veils with the same trim and the Monique consultants, bridal shop consultants and my sister (as well as I) all said it didn't look nearly as good as the longer veil ' so I gladly went with that. The long veil goes with the elegant style of this dress. I am also including the 2 Monique Lhuillier sashes one which is White that I wore for the ceremony and one that is Antique Gold which I wore for my reception. I received one for free when I purchased the dress which saved me an additional $220.
